The photo above was taken with my 1st dslr, 450D. I really like this picture, but at that time I dont know how to post process it. After 2 years, now I know how to remove the distracting things in the background, soften skin, catch light, etc… Now, both of the student above already grad and married. It was a nice memory when they’re still student 
… So, if you’re hobbyist..dont just delete all the picture, think first if you really like it or not..maybe the future tech can save it
