There’s a powerful tool in Photoshop called Curve. With this single tool, we can do adjustment on white balance, image contrast, brightness..well to cut it short, we can play around with the image’s histogram. Image of a group shot above was edited just only by using this Curve tool. Haha, yeap..you got me, I also cropped and put some text there.

Comparing with this original image, you can see that the face is brighter, more contrast and some vignetting. Oh yeah, actually I did use some Clone and Heal tool on the floor and wall to repair some of the reflecting light when I bounced my flash to the ceiling.
So, start playing with your Curve now!
